“FREAKY AWARD”
The FAMED “Freaky Award” represents independent horror’s highest achievement in Filmmaking, Acting, Cinematography, and Special FX Makeup. The FREAK SHOW Horror Film Festival “Freaky Award” is designed by Special FX Makeup Artist Barry Anderson who worked on such films as George A. Romero’s “Day of the Dead” and “Jeepers Creepers”. The FREAKY Award is awarded to films for outstanding achievement in the following categories:

The FREAK SHOW Horror Film Festival also gives out a Lifetime Achievement Freaky Award to artists in the industry that have made an impact on the horror genre.
2010 Lifetime Achievement Freaky Award Winner JOHN CARPENTER who made such movies as "Halloween", "The Fog", "The Thing", "Christine", and more.
2009 Lifetime Achievement Freaky Award Winner HERSHELL GORDON LEWIS the Godfather of Gore who made such movies as "2000 Maniacs" and "Blood Feast".
2007 Lifetime Achievement Freaky Award Winner HENRY MANFREDINI music composer who wrote the theme music for "Friday the 13th".
2006 Lifetime Achievement Freaky Award Winner LLOYD KAUFMAN who made such films as "The Toxic Avenger".
